Principal’s Message
Hard to believe, but we are about at the halfway mark for the second quarter with Thanksgiving break just around the corner. Time flies when you're having fun!
It was another busy week at LMS with our 7th and 8th-grade choir concerts performing on Tuesday (great work, singers!) and Operation L.E.A.D. taking place in our 8th-grade social studies classes today. Also, a big congratulations to our Behind the Scenes cast, crew, and directors for a wonderful show they put on this past weekend. Our Tigers are always on the move!
We have one more week for our Pass It On food drive campaign at LMS. Please continue to send in your donations as we'll be collecting through Friday, 11/19 with our students walking their donations down to Prince of Peace that day.
Thank you, families, for all you do. Have a great weekend.

Pass It On
Student Council will again be assisting the LIFE food pantry with the Pass it On campaign. On Monday, Nov 1st, you will be assigned a food item for your Tiger Time class to collect. The items will be walked down to the Prince of Peace Church on Friday, Nov. 19th (weather permitting).
There are two ways we are supporting the cause:
1. Raffle: for each item a student donates, they will receive a raffle ticket. Those tickets will be entered into a raffle to win one of 4-$10 gift cards (2 for 7th and 2 for 8th grade). Winners will be announced on Monday, Nov. 22nd.
Please see the Pass it On flyer for LMS. November 1 - November 19. Let's show the love to those in need.
Book Fair
The Loveland Middle School Book Fair will be taking place in the LMS/LIS Media Center from Monday, Nov. 8 through Friday, Nov. 19. Books are awesome! We hope to see our Tigers stopping down to check things out and maybe picking up a few choice reads to purchase and take home.

Donate for Socktober!
Our Loveland Robotics Teams are joining forces to collect socks during the Socktober Sock Drive. Socks are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters. Robotics Team 5040, and 10464 The Bionic Tigers are working together to collect socks this month. You can drop off a donation at any one of our buildings.
Attention 8th Grade Parents
Tiger Discount for Perfect North Slopes
Attention LMS skiers, snowboarders, tubers, and snowbirds! We wanted to pass along a discount made available through the LHS Ski and Snowboard Club for Perfect North Slopes. There are several discount opportunities through the site and ways to save. While we regret that we will not be able to offer a ski club for our LMS students this year, we do hope this is helpful in getting you to the slopes this winter!
To access the discount, click this link and log in with username "loveland" password "loveland".
Happy and safe skiing everyone!
LMS ATHLETICS
LMS Athletics is off to a great start for the winter season. All of our Basketball teams have had strong showings in their first scrimmages of the year. Next week offers up a couple more opportunities for our Tigers to strengthen their skills before they open up the regular season.
Best of luck to all of our Basketball, Cheer, and Wrestling teams this Winter season!
Go Tigers!
