Builder's Club Fundraiser
Builders Club had a successful week, raising awareness and funds in support of the fight against Cancer from April 17-21. The club created informational slides for all students in advisory class, posters for the hallways, and even a banner of honor for everyone to sign in honor of a loved one. Various fundraising activities took place as well. Builders Club is proud to report that a total of $1,288 was raised to be donated to St. Jude Hospital to help to care for Children with Cancer. Thank you everyone for supporting our cause!
Science Olympiad
"For the second year in a row, all 15 Romeo Middle School Science Olympiad students traveled to East Lansing at the Michigan State University campus on Saturday April 22nd and competed against the other Top 42 teams in the state. Great work to all students involved and a shout out to the Road Scholar team for medaling 5th place in the state. Go Bulldogs!"
It was a great experience for all the kids involved as this year the team was able to participate in the awards ceremony at the Breslin Center. We were able to participate in the parade of teams and were on the big screen as well.
Overall, we placed 26th out of 42 teams, which is still pretty impressive this year considering we only have four 8th graders on the team.

Dodgeball Tournament
Student Council is excited to host the 2nd Annual Romeo Middle School Dodgeball Tournament!
If a student would like to participate, they must organize a team of 10 players and nominate a team captain. The team captain can pick up a registration packet from the main office. All completed forms and entrance fees are due to the grade level Student Council Advisor by Friday, May 5th.
This year we also will be providing team t-shirts. The sooner the team’s completed registration packet is submitted, the better chance they have of getting your first choice t-shirt color.
See the attached flyer for further details. If a student has any questions about the dodgeball tournament, please see Ms. Venglar, Ms. McIlhargey, or Ms. Lee.
