From the desk of the principal

The character education word of the month is INTEGRITY.

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

STUDENTS: John Fuhrmann, Matthew Green & Brianna DeJean

NOMINATED BY: Mr. Bernard

John Fuhrmann, Matthew Green and Brianna DeJean found $191.00 in the hallway and immediately gave it to the nearest teacher, which was me. This is an unselfish act by these three students and indicates their character. Other students and people in general should emulate this type of character.

PC Systems Class in Action

Students in Mr. Dilks' PC Systems class programmed robotic cars today and were testing them in the C-Wing hallway. Great example of student learning occurring inside and outside of the classroom!

Science League Competition Results From Mr. Dannenhauer

Here are the results from the NJ Science League Competition from 2/14/19, the 2nd of 4 this season, when we traveled to Hammonton High School. All of the fine students came back to our high school, after their half-day on Valentine's Day, to travel all the way to Hammonton at 2:30 to distinctly represent our high school in science! See results below. The results are considered unofficial until the league reviews the tests and scores from all competing schools in the state.

We finished 1st in all categories on 2/14/19, except in Bio 2 (2nd place by 2 questions), and in HS Physics (4th place). The AP level Environmental Science team finished in 1st place in our area again, beating the perennial powerhouse - Cedar Creek!!

Congrats to all of our students, coaches, and teachers who are involved in making the Science League at EHTHS such a great success!
