We Need All Hands On Deck For This Huge Region Game
Pack Drops Buzzer Beater
It was a tough week in Wolfpack Basketball as we lost all three games and we held the league of all three contest in the fourth quarter. Tuesday night on the road we lost at the buzzer to Excel Christian. Excel Christian battled back to come get their first lead of the game with their buzzer beater three pointer to win the game. On The Road at Excel Chad Terrell delivered 17 points and 9 rebounds. Gunner Williams was able to add 16 points on the night.
Pack Drops a Close one to Harrison
Friday we lost a tough region contest on the road to the Harrison Hoyas. We went into the half up 29 to 24 with one of our best defensive performances of the season. We entered into the 4th quarter all tied at 40, but we were outscored proficiently in the 4th to lose the game by double digits. I was very proud of my teams effort, but we were unable to closeout the game on the road against a solid Harrison team. McCoy Etienne led our scoring attack with 11 points, while Chad Terrell added 9 points to the game. Gunner Williams also added 10 points to the contest on the road with superb shooting.
Pack Drops one to East
Saturday we played our rival East Paulding. We came out of the gate red hot thanks to the smooth shooting by Gunner Williams. Foul trouble plagued us early in the 2nd quarter as we had to rest Ethan Reed and Chad Terrell for the entire 2nd quarter. Our team rallied to keep us in striking distance as we closed out the half up 40 to 37. The 3rd quarter was another battle but we continued to thrive as we went into the 4th quarter down by 2. The 4th quarter we got out of what we do and we lost consistency and dropped the contest. Gunner Williams led the team with 21 points. Josh Burke had 11 points and hit some big time three pointers for us. Luke Dabbelt tabbed 10 points for our team as McCoy Etienne also scored in double digits.
