From the Principal's Desk
It's been a great few weeks at Fredericktown Middle/High School, and it looks like Spring is finally here! State testing has been completed, and we are headed into the last two weeks of school. Yesterday and today, the FFA students have been at the state convention. Several high school English classes went to a play and had a panel discussion about it. Mrs. Pletcher's math students were doing a hands on math project this week. The cafeteria staff had the Prom Picnic on Thursday for the high school students. Great learning and events are still taking place at the middle/high school. Here is a list of upcoming, end of the year events:
- The Junior/Senior Prom is this Saturday.
- PBIS Awards for high schoolers will be on May 11.
- The Senior Trip is on May 12.
- The PBIS Middle School Field Day is on May 17.
- Senior exams are on May 15 & 16.
- Graduation Practice is on May 18 at 8:30am.
- The Baccalaureate Ceremony and Senior Awards are on May 18 at 6:15pm.
- Graduation is on May 19 at 7:00pm.
Counselors' Corner
State Testing is wrapping up. Only a few make-up tests are left.
On May 15 all 5th grade students will be attending a 5th to 6th Grade Transition Meeting at the end of the school day. Students will be introduced to the 6th grade team and get to visit classrooms and other areas in the middle school.
