Last APTT Meeting - March 31st

Our last APTT meeting will be held March 31st. I am very excited to share with you the progress your student has made on describing, sorting, and evaluating. You have worked hard with them this year on these essential skills and it has paid off. Not only will I present information on this year's results, but I will also introduce skills and strategies that will benefit them next year in first grade. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting.

Don't Forget the Community Yard Sale

Smokey Road Middle School and Ruth Hill’s PTOs are going to collaborate for a Community Yard Sale. The yard sale will be on Saturday, March 28 from 9-12 at Smokey Road Middle School (in their parking lot).

Meals on Wheels - Friday is PJ Day!

Meals on Wheels is a community program that provides help and support to homebound, ill, or disabled elder adults who cannot provide care or prepare meals for themselves. It also provides these adults with needed home repairs, conducts home visits and checks to ensure their basic needs are met.

This Friday, March 20, we will have our Pajama Day. For $1, students can wear their pajamas to school!

We’ll tally up the totals each day for each class and the class by March 20th that collects the most money will get a cupcake party!

Trap That Leprechaun!

Mrs. Hopkin's 3rd grade class joined us for this month's STEM project. Our mission was to design and make a trap that will catch that pesky Leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day. We will set the traps on Tuesday and I will keep you posted if we are successful.

Our Students are Reading

Our students have been reading for some time now. Many have already read more than 20 of our readers. I hope to spotlight 2-3 students each week as they read one of their books. Enjoy!
