Tiger Teacher Topics of the Week

Mrs. Jester's Math

Mrs. Jester's sixth grade Pre-AP Pre-Algebra class and sixth grade math classes will be reviewing for the sixth grade OCCT test that will be on April 14.

Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Turnbow's Math

Mrs. Turnbow's and Mrs. Campbell's 6th grade math classes will be reviewing key standards before taking our Math OCCT on April 14.

Ms. Jasper's Science

This week we will begin chapter 7 lesson 2. We will be discussing the water cycle, as well as ecosystems.

Just some reminders for this week:

Tuesday, April 4: Ch. 6 Test (5th-7th Hours)

Wednesday, April 5: Ch. 6 Test (1st-2nd Hours)

Ms. Clark's Science

We are concurrently studying Human Body Systems. We are discussing the circulatory, respiratory, skeletal and muscular systems this week!!

Mr. Janzen and Mrs. Anderson's Social Studies

Mr. Janzen's and Mrs. Anderson's social studies classes will continue to study the Caribbean region and begin our Caribbean Postcard Research Project.

Mrs. Frank and Ms. Walter's English

English classes are reviewing for the Reading OCCT which is on Thursday, April 13. We will be covering genres, bibliographies, summary, main idea, and figurative language this week. Students have worked hard all year. We can't wait for the opportunity to show off what they have learned.

Mrs. Edwards' Literacy

In literacy, we will be going over several paired reading texts. We will work on test type questions over the paired readings in preparation for the state tests coming up.
