What do I do if my child is in quarantine?

Please have your child log in to Schoology every day for each hour. The teachers will provide information to students on what they should be working on each day. Depending on the course, some teachers will also be hosting live Google Meets for quarantined students.


If you or your child have any questions, please email the teacher(s) using the first initial, last name @rockfordschools.org. Students can email their teachers through Schoology.


If you have any questions about your child being quarantined, please contact our COVID Response Specialist, Rebecca Springer, at rspringer@rockfordschools.org

NEW Facemask Guidelines about Gaiters

MASK UPDATES: Starting Monday - November 16th - gaiters must have two layers or be folded to make it two layers.

The Health Department has put out the statement that gaiters do not provide the same level of protection as a cloth face mask. The evaluation of their effectiveness is ongoing. If you wear a gaiter, it must have two layers or be folded to make it two layers.


If your child wears a gaiter to school, please make sure the gaiter is 2 layers or folded to make it 2 layers. As always make sure to send back up masks.
