Boys State Candidate Selection Announced!
Congratulations to Legacy Juniors Amisha Chandra and Ritesh Jina for being selected for Boys State!
The Boys & Girls State program has been attended by 11th grade students since 1937. This program is a unique summertime educational program for high school juniors with a focus on participation and gaining personal experience in electing a “Model State Government, complete with governmental bodies and elected public officials.” The American Legion believes that our American government can survive only with an educated populace by planting the seeds for the future utilizing one of many Americanism programs the American Legion hosts each year. By teaching youths to understand and appreciate our democratic republic, America can remain strong and ensure our freedom for future generations to come. Selected students will attend this all-expense paid, seven-day leadership development program over the summer.
Another Legacy/THS Student Headed to CIF!
Sofia Gallagher, sophomore at Legacy, took 2nd place in wrestling league finals
for Tustin High wrestling team. This Friday we’ll be rooting for her as she competes for CIF championship for the southern division at Corona High School.
Sofia joined wrestling because she thought it sounded fun. She’s been wrestling for a year and a half now. This is Sofia's second time competing in CIF championships. Good luck Sofia, we are all cheering you on!
Legacy High School Robotics Win Tournament Champions!
And thank you to the members of 393B who volunteered their time to help out at the tournament!
Looking for some fun entertainment?
On Wednesday, February 15th, LMA’s Comedy Sportz High School League is competing against the teachers in improvisational games! Come support your friends and teachers.
What exactly is a Comedy Sportz Match?
We play improvisation as a team sport, with two teams "competing" for audience laughs. The stage is covered in turf, there's a referee and the players are in uniform. It’s comedy played as a sport. Because it's improvisational, it's always different and you never know what’s coming!
Tickets sold at lunch Monday-Wednesday and at the door. Come with the family.
Snacks will be available for purchase. All sales support our team fees and LMA Performing Arts. We can’t wait to make you smile!
