First week details for families

Schools across the nation are moving onward during this public health crisis. To keep our students and staff safe, everything is quite different. Lawrence has had tremendous support of all members of our learning community in developing plans with health, safety, and excellence in education as our guiding principles. Please see the details of each instructional choice below.

To be certain all entering students have compiled with health regulations, Blue (A) Tuesday morning September 8th are DROPPED OFF TO SCHOOL BY FAMILY and BUSED HOME.

Cohort A. BLUE COHORT

Blue cohort Begins in-person instruction Tuesday, September 8th.

-Tuesday (am only ) dropped off to school by a family member.( No bus the first morning)

2. Students grade 7-12 will be given a polycarbonate shield upon arrival and are responsible to carry it to class and return DAILY with their shield. All other grade shields remain on desks.

5. HEALTH APP URL will be texted to all shortly

Cohort B GOLD STUDENTS

Cohort B or the Gold cohort begins on September 8th using Google Classroom. The first day of in-person instruction for Gold is Monday, September 14th. By this first day, students must have completed the assurances. The Health app must be completed daily.


Students must wear a mask

Blue Cohort A-L Gold Cohort M-Z


Lawrence ‘A’ or Blue Hybrid Cohort will be children with the last name starting with letters A through L.

Lawrence ‘B" or Gold Hybrid Cohort will be children with the last name starting with letters M through Z.

Blue and Gold Cohort ( Daily)

Special education smaller classes attend in person instruction during both the blue and gold week.

Please complete daily health questions and follow lunch procedures.
