Please welcome Ms. Peters, Music Teacher, to CES!
I am excited to begin my first year teaching music at Carrsville Elementary! I recently graduated from Longwood University where I received my Choral Music Education Degree which includes a minor in Special Education. It has been a joy teaching the children and they are so excited to have music back. It certainly has been a great start to my music teaching career!

Big Smiles VA - February 27th
Dear Bulldog Families,
Great News! Our school has partnered with Big Smiles to offer in-school dental care. Best of all, in most cases there is no cost to you if your child is insured with Medicaid or CHIP! Private insurance and affordable self-pay options are also available.
Easy & Convenient
Having your child seen by the in-school dentist saves you valuable time. Top quality care is provided by local, licensed dentists right in the familiar surroundings of your child’s school. Dental care includes a complete exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when needed. Restorative care, such as fillings, may also be provided.
Keep Your Child Healthy
By having your child see the in-school dentist, you can help reduce the risk of:
Early Tooth Loss caused by dental decay
Gum Disease
Heart Disease
Impaired speech development
Taking care of your child’s teeth is an important part
of keeping them healthy
Simply fill out a permission form and return it to the school TODAY.
Special Education Parent Resource Center
Due to schedule conflicts, the Special Education Parent Resource Center will not be open on the student holiday Thursday, January 30, 2020. It will be open Friday, January 31, 2020 for an Open House. Please drop by between 8:00am and 3:30pm to see what the PRC has to offer. We are in Room 40 of Windsor Elementary School.
The January 22, 2020 Parent Session will be conducted as planned. Please join us at 5:00pm for an informative session on Social Skills (Kaylan Long) and cover Progress Reporting on the IEP as well.
Please contact Diane Pearson for more information at: dpearson@iwcs.k12.va.us
