Club 45 is meeting up live this Sunday, March 22 on Zoom!
Zoom is a great way to connect by smart phone, computer, or phone! Your Club 45 team will be online, ready to hang out with you at 10:00 am.
How do I get in on this Club 45 online party, you ask? Send an email or text to andreabrinkert@gmail.com 507-380-2845 with your name and how you want us to invite you (phone number or email address), and we will send you all the info you need to join us live.
A few important notes:
- We need to get your message by 9:45am on Sunday
- You will only get the link by asking for it.
- We're not posting it anywhere online for safety reasons.
Gather up some family and friends and let's do Club 45 at home!
Circle up!
We always like to start with a name game. Today, tell everyone:
- Your name
- How are you on a scale from 1-4? (1 is not so good, 4 is excellent)
- What would you say is the most unique thing about you? Do you have any unique tricks you can do, like bending your fingers backward, or a signature dance move? Show your family!
Worship
The Goodness of God
I love You Lord
Oh Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I've been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up until I lay my head
I will sing of the goodness of God
All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
I will sing of the goodness of God
I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
In darkest nights, you are close like no other
I've known You as a father, I've known You as a friend
I have lived in the goodness of God
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
With my life laid down I’m surrendered now
I give You everything
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
Find it in the Bible
In a physical Bible, or in a Bible app like YouVersion, look up Luke 19:1-10. Read it together. Think and talk about this question:
- Do you ever feel ignored or left out?
Let's watch the story together
Let's think about that a little bit!
- What can we learn from how Jesus treated Zacchaeus?
- How can we live this out in our every day coming and going? Or our every day staying?
- Who do you think is being overlooked right now? How do you think Jesus might invite you to reach out to them when we can't visit each other in person as much?
- Do you ever find yourself getting mad or frustrated when someone who has made poor choices get special treatment like Zacchaeus did? Why?
- How do you think Jesus rescued Zacchaeus? What happened in his heart?
Quiet time - just you and Jesus
Find a spot where you and Jesus can chat. We want to spend some time talking to Jesus about anything that is on our minds, and listening to anything he might say back to us.
To begin, you might close your eyes and imagine yourself somewhere with Jesus. Look at him in your mind and tell him what you're thinking. Ask him about things that you are wondering about. He loves to hear from you!
After a bit, you might want to design your own bookmark. Write on it, "God sees and helps those who are overlooked and so can I." Ask God how you can help someone this week who might feel overlooked.
Pray for each other
Don't stand alone!
- Weekend worship for the whole family at 6pm Saturday, 9am Sunday, and 11am Sunday.(Click on the live stream link or watch on demand)
- Small groups. Many are meeting online, and more online groups starting soon.
- Get an email or a phone number for your Club 45 friends. Send one of us an email or text with the following info and we will get it to your friend's family, and leave it up to them to get in touch with you.
