Anti-Bullying Presentation for Students, Monday, March 20, 2023
This presentation will address the different types of bullying, how it’s affecting our youth, and preventative measures students can take. We empower and encourage students to change the culture of bullying and create a kindness culture instead. We also inform students about the legal consequences for bullying and how it can affect their future. This presentation will be given to 6-8th grade students on March 20.
SV Hats For Sale
There will also be a one size child/youth all black cap available for purchase as well that will fit our youngest Vipers better than the adult 39thirty. Please be sure to order the correct size on our website as we will not have extra hats on hand to exchange sizes.
Middle School Sports Update
Mindful Monday
Mindful Exercise
Simple mindfulness exercises can be practiced anywhere and anytime. Research indicates that engaging your senses outdoors is especially beneficial. Spending too much time planning, problem-solving, daydreaming, or thinking negative or random thoughts can be draining. It can also make you more likely to experience stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression. Practicing mindfulness exercises can help you direct your attention away from this kind of thinking and engage with the world around you.
This week's challenge: Walking meditation. Find a quiet place and begin to walk slowly. Focus on the experience of walking, being aware of the sensations of standing and the subtle movements that keep your balance. When you reach the end of your path, turn and continue walking, maintaining awareness of your sensations.

PBIS Rewards
PBIS Rewards continues to be a huge success at SV this year and your students love to spend their PBIS Rewards points at our school store. If you are interested in donating to our PBIS store, we have a PBIS Store Amazon Wishlist. You can also drop off any donation items to our office - new/gently loved stuffed animals are always a popular item.
Help stock the PBIS Store Rewards Store by purchasing Rewards directly on Amazon. If you purchase from our PBIS Rewards wishlist it will ship directly to campus and our kids can purchase immediately. Stock our store here:

Help our Health Office
The Health Office could use your help. We need assistance in restocking our clothing cabinet. We are in need of donations of NEW underwear for boys and girls- sizes extra small, small, & medium. If you are doing any spring cleaning, we can take any gently used, athletic-type shorts, shirts, and leggings for girls and boys in all sizes. This will help us get students back to class faster after an accident. Thank you for supporting our students!
