St. Mark News

April 25th, 2016

Dear St. Mark Families,

Our Home and School Board outdid themselves yet again! Thank you so much for all of your work putting together Saint Mark School Bag Bingo 2016. Everyone had an awesome time. We also extend our thanks to the many donors and volunteers for their amazing generosity. This is a big thing to organize, and we appreciate everyone who contributed in some way to make this event possible. Thanks for coming and your continued support of St. Mark!

I was happy to see that many students knew the answer to our trivia question last week. The students were asked which founding father was born on April 13th. They were given several clues and asked to write their answers on a piece of paper to be entered in a drawing for a dress down day. The first ten correct answers drawn won the prize. It was so cute to see that many kindergarteners wrote Jesus and God. I am surprised they didn’t write Father Mooney.

Thank you to everyone who sent in labels, stamps, and monetary donations for our Race for Education fundraiser. We are looking to use the money we collect to update our science program. We are very excited about this, as we have already started looking into a new text book series to be used throughout the school. Thank you for your support with this project. We hope to see many of you cheering our students on at this event on Friday, May 20th beginning @ 10:00 AM.

God bless,

Mrs. Maria Sanson
