To Be Great, Be Here By 8

Parents, please assist us by bringing your students to school on time. We have dozens of students who are late to 1st period specifically. All students should be in their seats in 1st period by 8:10 am. Please have students at school by 8:00 am so they can arrive on time. All students reporting after 8:30 must be signed in by a parent. We hope this increases our daily attendance and curtails our tardies. Thank you parents for your efforts in getting our students here and on time!

Backpack/Bookbag rule- Thank You!

The use of bookbags that do not meet the DCSD requirements is unfortunately increasing. A reminder that students must have a clear book bag or mesh see through bookbag. This is for the safety of all stakeholders. Students without the appropriate bookbag, will have their bag confiscated and returned only to the parent.

Parent and Family Engagement

Please go to our school website, click Parents, and review our School and Family Compact. We need your electronic signature signifying you have viewed the compact. While there, please feel review of Parent and family Engagement Calendar of Events and other resources which provide more information about what is currently happening here at Stone Mountain High School. We hope our website provides transparency and opportunities for continued two-way communication between our school and your households.
