Cafeteria/Lunch Updates

Due to an upcoming audit, please have your lunch accounts paid in full by December 20th. The audit will take place as soon as we return in January.

Also, if you have not updated your student's Free and Reduced lunch application for the 2019-2020 school year, please do so as soon as possible. October 1st was the expiration date for students who received free and reduced lunch last year. Until a new application is completed and approved, a cost of $2.50 will be added to your student's lunch account each day that he or she eats school lunch.

To apply, just click on the link below. We encourage everyone to complete an application.

Want to volunteer or attend a field trip?

If you have not completed the volunteer application, please click the link below to do so. You will need to have your volunteer card to go on field trips and to participate in school held events.

December Life Skill for the Month- “CARING”

Caring is... thinking about the concerns, cares, and feelings of others.

What Caring looks like:
-Make community service a family routine. Once a month volunteer to help others.

-You may suggest your child "adopt" an elderly person or needy person. The child can mow their lawn or clean their yard.

- -Always remember - we become caring people by doing caring things!

Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help your child this year!

Kingston Elementary PTO will host a “Parents Night Out” event on Friday, December 13, 2019, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. This is a free event for Kingston students only. Students can come dressed in their favorite pajamas. Students will be able to play games, make Christmas craft ornaments, and enjoy light refreshments. To sign up, please click the link below and complete the form. Forms must be completed by 8:00 a.m., Monday, December 9th. Thank you for your support.

Let's show our school spirit!

Students are encouraged to wear school colors or Kingston T-shirts every Friday. School colors are blue and white. Wearing school colors each week is a proactive way of reminding students to maintain our safe and caring school. Each class that has at least 50% or more students wearing school colors will have their class name entered in a drawing. Two classes will win the Cool Cat sign to be placed on their door for the week, as well as some type of incentive (candy, ice cream, chips, etc). Each week we hope to choose a different class. Please encourage your child to participate in Spirit Day every Friday!
