Hillcrest Robotics Teams Competed in Mukwanogo!
Thank you to our coaches and mentors for making our teams a possibility this year: Wyatt Webb, Lyndsy DiNardo, Holly Bentfield, Lon Plestina, Charles Carreros, and Sarah Quinones!
Thank you, also, to our fabulous parents and cheering squad for spending the day cheering on our teams!
See It Live Event
Have any friends considering Hillcrest at their Elementary School? Make sure they know about the district's enrollment event in the graphic below.
Also, there are times set up for tours and opportunities to see our classroom with students present. This See It Live Sign Up includes time slots that are available in the next two weeks.
For our 4th and 5th grade families thinking about middle school, these are great opportunities for you to learn more about your options as well.
Attendance Letters
We know children get sick throughout the school year and there are guidelines for keeping them home. Thank you for helping to keep everyone at school whenever possible!
Ready to Help with PTO's Italian Night?
Italian Night, March 6th, is PTO's biggest fundraiser of the year. For those that may be new to Hillcrest it is a wonderful night full of games, prizes, baked goods, delicious food from Mama Mia’s, a large raffle and auction items. The money raised this evening helps to enhance our children’s education by allowing extra funds earned to go back into the classrooms and the school. If you are interested in learning more about this event and may like to help with planning and volunteering please join us for our first committee meeting - All are invited.
Each year we have a class project that is included in the silent auction. Returning committee members or new members that may have an idea for this project we would love to hear and decide on a project at our meeting. If you may have an idea, we are looking for something that will involve all the students in each class, will not take up much class time, have a low cost for supplies and daytime availability to be able to go into school and have student involvement. For those that come with an idea: please bring a picture of what your idea is, supplies needed, and any information on initial costs. Some prior projects included: platters with adorable fingerprint trees, a lovely picture frame with each student making a heart with hands, creative wind chimes, stylish wooden board with hand prints on the edge, a wonderful cookbook/mixes and a beautiful apron with each student’s hand prints. We can’t wait to hear your creative ideas
At our first meeting we will have updates on where we are so far, hopefully decide on a class project and look at what will be needed next.
We look forward to seeing you on December 11th in the media center at 6pm.
