So thankful
November, 2019
Dear Eatonville Community:
This is an important time of the year, and I want to take a moment to extend my greetings and best wishes to you. The meaning of the holidays is important – It’s a time to join with family and friends and to give thanks for all that we enjoy together. We are also members of a special family here at the Eatonville School District and in the Eatonville Community. We have much to be grateful for and to appreciate. During the holiday season, most of us pause and reflect on the things that are important to us. I am so thankful for the dedicated staff that we have throughout Eatonville Schools.
I continue to witness staff members across the district coming together as a true community family to celebrate and support each other, never losing sight of our purpose… the children. This fall, I have seen courageous actions on your part to meet the needs of parents, students and the system. We are thankful for your dedication and time and effort.
At this time, I want to thank YOU and reiterate how grateful we are for your commitment to kids! Thank you for all that you have done and all that you will do in the coming year. You make this district Eatonville Strong.
All of you continue to amaze me with your commitment and dedication to our children. Over the holiday break, please take time for yourselves and your families… to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate. Have a wonderful holiday and be safe in your travels. I look forward to working alongside each of you during the New Year. I am confident that 2020 will be wonderful: Full of Creativity, Imagination, Wonder Health and Wellness as we continue to work to graduate every student and give all students the successful school experience that they deserve. 2020: What an amazing year to be a part of the Eatonville Community: I can't wait to see what is in store!
