Calling for All Paper Cartons

Carton2Garden Contest

Enhancing Our Garden

Blue Ash Elementary has a beautiful garden, The Sweetwood Garden, that our students use for various curriculum lessons and real-world learning experiences. This was started by our PTO and is managed by our Garden Team.

Our school is asking for your help with donating paper milk and juice cartons to enhance our garden. We are entering the Carton2Garden contest to promote environmental stewardship and healthy living. The best use of cartons in a school garden gives a school a chance to win 1 of 14 prizes with a grand prize of $5,000!

Enhancing the Garden

All students will be contributing their efforts to enhance The Sweetwood Garden.

Most of each milk or juice carton is made of paper, which comes from trees, a renewable resource and cartons are recyclable. These cartons can also be repurposed. This contest allows for children to use their imaginations to repurpose cartons into creations, allowing for STEM learning and engagement within our garden.
