Bobcat Weekly Update
We Know Every Child by Name and by Need
October 12, 2018
Lakeview Leaders!
We have reached the middle of October! Whoo hoo! Thank you for all the work and energy you have put into your students and your teams. The work you have done will continue to pay you back ten fold as we continue through the year.
This time of year is also great to try new things. This week, third grade was able to participate in a Lucy Calkins Mega Lab. It was a great day full of learning, but one of the best things I took away from it was to just at least try (approximate). Jump in and give it a go. Don't be afraid to try new things and take risks. As Dr. Thornell would say #bebold!
Have a great weekend!
Monday Is Going to Be in the 40s and Rainy!

Capturing Kids Hearts
For those who have not been trained yet, I promise it will continue to make more and more sense once you have gone through the program:)
As we begin the 3rd week of school we should have completed or worked towards our:
Social Contracts - Remember these are to be posted visibly in the classroom and referred to as needed.
4 Questions - These should also be displayed and referred to. The 4 questions are an awesome way to put responsibility for student choices back on students.
1. What are you doing?
2. What are you supposed to be doing?
3. Are you doing that?
4. What are you going to do about it?
