Our Applebee's fundraiser will be held this Saturday, November 4 from 8AM-10AM! This is a fun way to spend a Saturday morning eating breakfast with friends. The cost is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.

Vernfield teachers will be your servers! Any "tips" left on the tables will be donated to a Vernfield family in need.

Veteran's Day

Vernfield students will be participating in a very special assembly next Friday, November 10th, in honor of Veteran's Day. Students may wear red, white or blue!

Jumpin Jacks Fundraiser

Please join us for a fun night at Jumpin Jacks in Hatfield on Friday, November 10th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM!!! Cost is $10 at the door and can be paid either in cash or by credit card. There will be baked goods for sale in the lobby. All children must have a completed release waiver to jump and must wear socks. If you have any questions, please contact Sara Landis at

Conference Time Parent Book Fair


There will be a book fair for parents during conference time. This is your chance to shop without the children seeing you. A gift wrapping station will be available. All profits benefit our school library. There will be some raffles. No purchase necessary to enter the raffles. Just stop by and say Happy Holidays to get your raffle ticket.

I am looking for a few parents to cover some of the shifts as I have library meetings to attend. Please email me ( if you can cover a 2-3 hr. shift on any of the three dates listed.

Submit Pictures for the Yearbook

Get your pictures in the yearbook! The Yearbook Staff invites parents to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of school events, we'd like to see them. Our photographers can't be everywhere. Help us get as many photos as possible to create a terrific book everyone will want to have.

Here is how you can submit photos online:
• Go to:
• If it does not automatically log you into the site, enter username: 409613596
• Browse to select the photo(s) you wish to upload.
• Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.
• Click "Save Details".

****Please make sure that each photo has the classroom/teacher name or event included in the file name****

Help Wanted!

  • Yearbook- Our current Yearbook committee is looking for help with this year's Yearbook as well as someone to begin learning the website. The students love receiving the Yearbook each year and it is a great way to preserve memories from year to year. If you are interested, please contact Sandra Esposito at


Reminder: all volunteers must fill out the Registration and Disclosure Statement and return it to the office. There are also copies available in the Vernfield office.
