BWMS Family Update
1/5/24
Here Comes More in '24
Greetings from BWMS.
Can you believe it is the year 2024? Although we have much to celebrate from the 1st semester of the school year, there is still much to still achieve. This is a great time to sit down with your student and talk about goals. Have your student develop 1-2 long term goals with 2-3 short term goals to help them accomplish their dream. Next, have them write it down where they can see the big picture goal daily and don't forget to check in within them about how things are going. Modeling the goal setting process from adults help students see the importance of setting goals and then recognize the intrinsic value of meeting those goals.
Enjoy the weekend,
Mr. Josh Frame

BWMS National Junior Honor Society
We are excited to announce that Big Walnut Middle School will be starting a chapter of National Junior Honor Society. Any student who qualifies, based on their grade point average, will be notified in January and given the opportunity to complete the application process. At the core of National Junior Honor Society are the pillars of Scholarship, Character, Leadership, Service and Citizenship, which guide the acceptance of members and the activities in which students will participate. A special thank you to BWMS PTO for making this possible by funding our initial chapter fees.
