Principal's Comment
Kia ora Whanau
We've had a challenging few days with power this week. A pedestal switch had failed, and parts of the school were not getting full services to the classroom. Early this morning about two thirds of the school was without power. The electricians were able to restore us to full power at around 10am this morning.
As per usual, the staff and students took this disruption in their stride. A massive thanks to my staff for ALWAYS being so positive and supportive during challenging situations... Kia ora!
We are really excited to see you all at our Matariki celebration this coming Wednesday 26 July. Our Kapa Haka group are performing for the first time this year and are very excited to have an audience! Free sausages and hot chocolate will be available along with lots of fun activities in classes.
Have a wonderful weekend Whanau!
Nga mihi,
Steve

You should now be able see your school account in the finance section of your child's Hero profile. This means you can see if there are any charges like stationery or sports fees that need to be paid all in one area. Please feel free to come and discuss anything in regards to this with the office team.
We now have the Onekawa School events calendar up and running. If you click on 'events' you will be directed to an overview page of any events coming up at school.
If you have any questions about this, we can walk you through it at the office. We are more than happy to help.
