They All Have a Secret
Wake
Perfection Isn't Perfect
“Every man would fall in love with their voice, their lovely appearance, but no man would ever get past that. They'd never really know the girls for who they actually were, never really love them. It would be impossible for any of the four girls to ever really fall in love and be genuinely loved in return.”
"I don't know what's going on with you,But whatever it is I'll be there for yo. Whatever you're going through, I'm here. I want you to know that." -Alex, Wake
This represents the big event if the book because it shows Gemma's family and friends. Gemma has to decided whether she wants to stay in the town she grew up in or to start a life out at sea.
This represents the theme because it show the actions these three girls have done. They seems innocent and perfect but in reality they have killed and lied to the ones they "love".
This represents the protagonist, Gemma, because it shows Gemma in the water. Gemma has a passion for the water and if she could could she would spend the rest of her life in it. But she just might once she meets three other girls who love the water just as much.
A captivating adventure of a teenage girl stuck between a dangerous fairy tale and perfect reality.
