Message from the Principal's Office
We have almost completed first semester!!
Veteran's Day assembly was a huge success! We have had a lot of success in sports, cheer, choir, band, scholar bowl, FFA, TSA, FCCLA and FBLA. A lot of dedication to sports and activities are happening at the Middle and High School. "The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) shows that student success is directly linked to student involvement. "Students who are actively involved in sports and activities usually perform better in academics. Adrian School District has always done a great job of including students in their activities, please help us continue this involvement.
Teachers are working on developing curriculum and assessments in their classrooms so we continue to work on improving student achievement. Many thanks to the hard work that our teachers put into their curriculum, lesson, and most importantly their students.
Handbook Highlights: BACKPACKS - Due to the amount of travel within our school we are allowing students to carry their backpacks with them throughout the day. Students seem to enjoy this freedom and investment in trust. We hope that students can use this privilege to maintain other school rules. Just as a reminder NO outside food and drinks are to be brought into the school. Please help in maintaining these guidelines.
Attendance - Reminder that our attendance policy has changed. Students need to be at school every day in order to stay academically challenged and motivated to achieve in school. Please support our attendance effort!!
We want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! Enjoy time with family and friends during the winter break!! We plan on seeing everyone ready for a new semester on January 5, 2016.
