Third Grade in the News!
March16th - March 20th
What We Are Learning This Week
Language Arts with Mrs. Trueblood: We will be studying theme vs. main idea and recognizing it in reading passages. We will be looking at the characteristics of a news article - and preparing to write our own.Please have your child read for at least 30 minutes per day- over Spring Break.
Science with Mrs. Naragon: We will begin our next Life Science unit! We will first look at Growth and Heredity including the life cycles of plants and animal and how plants and animals grow and change over time.
Math with Mrs. Moore: We will begin our unit on fractions. The unit will start with a pre-assessment to see what students already know about fractions. From there we will begin a study on equivalent fractions.
We need YOUR help in the Lunch Room!
We have a new lunch volunteer sign up for the semester! Our lunch is from 11:15-11:45 on Monday - Thursday and 11:20-11:50 on Fridays!! We are looking for volunteers for this coming week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday... to sign up, please visit the link below!
