Super Magnetic Putty
Put it near the magnet and within five seconds, the putty will stretch itself out to reach the magnet almost as if it were alive. Press the magnet into it and the whole piece of putty becomes magnetic, able to lift tacks and paperclips on its own after charging in a magnetic field.
It's perfect for science-loving kids, or for any adult that loves intelligent play! Use the magnet to do the "snake charmer" trick. Or leave the magnet on your ball of putty and watch it engulf that magnet in about an hour! What can you do with it? The possibilities are endless!

Homeschooling Advice
How to know if you're doing enough
Several months ago I asked Simple Homeschool readers to tell me their main homeschooling concern. I received hundreds of replies, but was stunned to find that over 75% of them were more or less the same:
- “I just wish I knew I was doing enough.”
- “I feel like I’m not doing enough.”
- “How do I know if I’m doing enough?”
All of us have different families and different children, but the same insecurities. I know, because they sometimes keep me up at night, too.
And so I thought that at the beginning of a new homeschool year, we should take a peek at this word, how it haunts us, and what we can do to break free.
Local Events
For almost 100 years, the Anaheim Fall Festival & Halloween Parade has brought our community together to create an annual parade & festival, enjoyed by nearly 50,000 attendees each year.
Since 1924, Halloween has held special magic for the people of Anaheim. A nighttime pageant of ghosts, goblins, jack-o’-lanterns, and witches stretching a mile and a half through the darkened streets of downtown, the annual Anaheim Halloween Parade has become a Southern California family favorite.
When: Saturday, October 26, 2019
Where: Downtown Anaheim, 205 Center Street Promenade, Anaheim, CA 92805
Cost: Free
