Weekly Update
Hello Foster’s Finest,
What a beautiful day outside today! We have received some excellent news from the project manager about the playground: The new playground equipment has arrived and been installed. The bolts that needed to be replaced from the equipment that was moved from the old playground have been installed as well. Our new basketball hoops have been installed and the turf is no longer saturated with water. I am anticipating recess being on the new playground starting on Monday if the installation passes inspection. If not Monday, we will be on the playground on Tuesday. I cannot stress how incredible the students have been with all of the adults outside. They have followed directions and played well with each other. I also want to acknowledge the work of the staff to keep everyone safe.
We are holding a Cyber Safety & Wellness forum for elementary school parents. This program is being held in conjunction with the Hingham Police Department. Our School Resource Officer along with school guidance counselors and adjustment counselors, will be providing parents with important information about raising children in a digital age. It is being held on March 1, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Hingham Middle School. Our hope is that this program will provide parents with the support needed to keep our students safe in the digital age. Please see the attached flyer.
I hope you all have a great weekend! Let's hope this weather holds up.
Mr. Scheufele
