Angel Note: August 16, 2020
Welcome: 2020-2021 School Year
On behalf of Father Gerry, faculty and staff, I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2020-21 school year!
As I enter my first year as principal at OLLV, I have recognized that we are truly blessed to have a Catholic community of parents, grandparents, and extended families who work together to enrich the educational experience of our students.
This year we are looking forward to a productive partnership to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our students need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in their education and we ask for your guidance and support by ensuring that he/she:
- Follows the campus arrival and dismissal procedures as well as adheres to safety and hygiene protocols in place
- Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience
- Completes all classwork/homework assignments given by teachers
- Reads daily to develop a love of reading and to improve literacy skills
- Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of the daily school life
- Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject as we are here to assist in many ways
Finally, we ask for your prayers and your patience. Please allow us to adjust to our "new normal". Stay tuned for weekly updates. Be assured that we are here to support you and your children - we remain in this together.
Blessings,
Mrs. Marisa Bello, Principal
