Reminders
First Day Learner/ Teacher/ Parent Interviews - 2nd February
The first day of the year will be a ‘get to know you / introduction/interview’. The purpose of these 10-minute sessions is to get to know learners' interests, passions, friends and learning style. This is also an opportunity for parents and learners to share important information that teachers may need to know to make the start of the year successful.
Learners can also ask their teacher about opportunities in the school and how the school works. We believe this is beneficial to all concerned as a face to face meeting supports learner advocacy and learner-voice by fostering the positive building of a learner teacher relationship. A positive relationship is considered number one in the impact on student engagement and success in learning.
Learners may wear mufti to this interview. The first full day of school is Wednesday 3 February commencing at 8.45 am. Learners can go straight to their classroom on this day.
A letter with more detail will be sent to you in late January.
The next opportunity for meeting the teacher will be Friday 12th February at the school picnic.
The first learning conversation of the year will be in late March
Camp Raglan 2021
Camps will be between 15 - 31 March. Approx $235. Please book this in!! Looking forward to seeing you there!
