Welcome 2021

Happy new year! We are so excited to welcome back our students after a two-week vacation. I hope that you found the break to be restful and a time to recharge. I'd like to take a moment and thank you all for the generous Christmas gifts, cards, and well wishes. Although our Christmas looked and felt very different this year, the love that surrounds us both here in school and in our homes was still very much present. I am grateful, once again.

Morning Drop Off

Winter has certainly set in and it is very cold outside in the morning for our staff members. Currently, our drop off time is between 7:30-8:20. We are changing this slightly. Morning drop-off will now be from 7:30-8:15. If you arrive after 8:15, you will need to park in the middle lot between the church and school and walk your child to the front main doors. Their temperature will be taken there. LS, PK, and KA may still enter through their back classroom doors until 8:20.

Quarantine Guidance Update

The CDC and RIDOH have changed the quarantine guidance for close contacts from 14 days to 10 days with the option to test out on day 7. The leadership team in collaboration with Mrs. Habershaw has decided NOT to make that change at ICCRS. In a meeting with the Educational Operation Center, they said that 14 days is the "gold standard" and we believe this is working for us. In addition, we will not be changing the 14-day quarantine requirement after traveling to a state with a greater than a 5% positivity rate.
