April 5, 2016 - Edmodo to Motivate Students for Beginners

Edmodo provides a safe and easy way for your class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework and school notices. Edmodo uses sign up codes unique to classes and school, which prevents outsiders from joining. Edmodo will integrate with Office 365, so you will have a one log-in process. Come see why 2,684RCS teachers and 38,797 RCS students are already using this “Facebook like” user friendly program. Great for a LMS (Learning Management System) for your classes!

April 14, 2016 - Let's Get Our SWAY On--SWAY in the Classroom

Description: Sway is an interactive multimedia online application that allows users to convey concepts, ideas, and stories quickly, easily, and clearly. Sways are based on a storyline, and cards are added to provide content. Word documents, PDFs, and PowerPoints can be imported into a Sway. Videos, Tweets, and pictures are a few cards that can be added to a Sway, as well as heading and text. Sway can be used in the classroom for digital storytelling, flipped learning, presenting, researching, creating student portfolios and or resumes and collaborating.
