Attention 4th grade Virtual Students
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 7th from 4:00-4:30pm
• We will have a photographer at Blue Ash Elementary to take individual photos of our virtual BAE 4th grade students in front of a green screen. The photographer will be splicing the individual photos together to create a whole group shot of our entire graduating 4th grade class!
• Please AVOID WEARING GREEN. It presents a challenge to the photographer because of the green screen background.
• The large group photo will be featured in our 2020-2021 BAE Yearbook. • There is no charge to be included in the photo and we hope to have everyone attend. Copies of the photo will be available for purchase and information about purchasing a copy of the group photo will be shared at a later date.
• We wanted to continue the tradition of a 4th grade group photo while being safe, maintaining social distancing, and incorporating our entire 4th grade class. • Students are to enter through the 4th grade door. Parents are asked to wait in cars or outside. There will be a volunteer at the 4th grade door to direct students where to go. • Please wear a mask and do not plan to arrive before 4:00 as our face-to-face students will dismissing at that time.
• If you are unable to attend on April 7th, there will be a make-up session on Monday, April 12th. Please email bae.yearbook.2021@gmail.com to arrange to attend the make up session.

PTO NEWS.......
To Order Your Yearbook- DEADLINE MARCH 31st!
The Power of PTO
So many of the activities, supports, events, and celebrations that we enjoy at BAE are because we have an involved and supportive PTO. This organization is led by a group of parent volunteers that get together with Mrs. Combs to plan and implement ways to enrich the school experience for everyone. Whether it is our Haunted Festival, Active Aves, Cultural Celebrations, or other school community gatherings, our PTO makes it possible....and we have a lot of fun in the process!
Please review the information below and consider being a part of our PTO leadership team.
Questions? Please reach out to:
Victoria Margroum (President) at bapto@sycamoreschools.org

Open PTO Chair Positions
BAE PTO has open Chair Positions and we need your help!
These always anticipated and beloved events can only happen with the planning and support of our volunteers. Please volunteer to help organize an exciting occasion for our students. We are looking for a Chair Person for each of the following events:
- Cultural Celebration
- BAE Fun Night
- 4th Grade Celebration

Good with numbers? Please consider helping BAE PTO by auditing our books! If you or someone you know would be able to help with our annual audit, please reach out to Victoria Margroum at bapto@sycamoreschools.org

Looking to get involved in BAE PTO? Put your talents to use for a noble cause: helping our students and teachers!
We have three open positions on the BAE PTO Executive Board for the 2021-2022 school year: President, Treasurer, and Communications Secretary. Each open position could be filled by one person or a team working together. Our current President, Treasurers, and Communication Secretary want anyone considering filling these positions to know that they are available to answer questions and give support next school year. Current and past members of the BAE PTO Executive Board really work together as a team to support new board members!
Please consider volunteering for one of these positions!
Contact Victoria Margroum at bapto@sycamoreschools.org or Jill Hagen at baptocomsec@sycamoreschools.org with interest or questions.

ADAPT for Life
Dear Families,
Recently we shared information with you regarding an exciting grant awarded to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Sycamore Community Schools as a part of Governor Dewine’s K-12 Prevention Education Initiative. We have started the engagement process with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s Adapt for Life team, we are in need of your feedback to assist our student, staff, and family planning. Completing this anonymous 5 question survey will inform our process and assist us in developing strong programming for our future.
In April, we anticipate hosting virtual parent information sessions about the Adapt for Life program and our grant partnership. We look forward to sharing more with you in the coming weeks and months.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Lisa Zelvy, Pupil Services Supervisor, at zelvyl@sycamoreschools.org
