From the prinicpal....Tony White

With four days of school left, the 2021-2022 school year is nearly in the rearview mirror, and what a year it's been! I want to thank every member of our Norton Creek community for a fantastic year. I want to thank our staff for their amazing dedication to demonstrating their passion and compassion each and everyday. Teaching is one of the most rewarding professions and simultaneously exhausting. Each member of our team here puts their whole heart into their work while also engaging their minds as they design engaging lessons and make 10,000 decisions a day all while teaching from their feet and not from their seat. Our students are overwhelmingly kind, positive, and seeking to build as many relationships as possible with everyone they come into contact with. They live out our school's 3 Be's as they are Kind, Respectful Problem-Solvers everywhere they go. This doesn't mean that they don't make mistakes - like any of us, they do. They're growing and learning, and mistakes are a part of the process. Invariably, with our support at school and at home, they learn from them and come through it better. Our families are absolutely on fire for our Eagles' education and Norton Creek overall. Your passion and compassion are also greatly appreciated. The work you do at the kitchen table on homework...the life lessons you teach your Eagles that they bring to Norton Creek...the kindness you show our teachers and staff...and the partnership we forge together...we would not be successful without you, and we are forever grateful to have your support and such a powerful relationship with our families.

To our fifth graders, I want to say thank you for your contributions to our school. As leaders, you have demonstrated unfailing kindness. It is your kindness that will forever be your defining trait here at Norton Creek. Well...your kindness and your sense of humor. This fifth grade class is unbelievably funny and makes us laugh each and everyday. We will miss you after you head off to middle school and wish you all the best. Feel free to visit us anytime! You can't head somewhere great without leaving somewhere great behind. Take the lessons learned at and the spirit of Norton Creek with you wherever you go. We've certainly enjoyed our time together, and I hope you have enjoyed it just as much.

To Mrs. Roth and Mrs. Dykes, our two retirees from our staff this year, please, know that the work you have done with students in resource and RISE is invaluable and our gratitude to you can't possibly be put into adequate words. Your jobs are challenging yet always rewarding, and you did them each day with smiles on your faces. You built trusting relationships with each student and their families, and we will miss you terribly after you retire. However, the impact you have both made on Norton Creek will be felt for years to come.

Have a wonderful summer, Norton Creek! Enjoy the time to yourselves as families and friends making memories that will last a lifetime!

End of the Year Medication Pick up/Health Forms for Next School Year.

Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe another school year is almost over!

This is a reminder that you will need to come to school to pick up your child’s medication by the last day of school. Those medications that are not picked up at the end of the year will be disposed of. Per D303 policy, we are not able to keep medication here over the summer for reuse in the fall. Students may not transport any daily medications or over-the-counter medications. All medications would have to be picked up by a parent or adult designee with the parent’s permission.

If you are in need of any of the asthma, allergy, or medication authorization forms for the 2022-23 school year, the forms can be found at:

Please call the health office at (331) 228-2704 with any questions.

Thank you and have a wonderful summer!
