Girl gets Sickle Cell Anemia at age 12
The beginning...
Emily Jones, age 12 is beginning to feel like she can't live in peace and be happy with all the pain she is in. Emily has been having pains in her most important areas of her body which is the chest, abdomen and then in her joints. That is apart of her circulatory and respiratory system. She decided to go see her local doctor and see what was up. Dr. Willis who is Emily's doctor gave her a diagnosis and out of everything he has tested it seems like Emily has Sickle Cell Anemia.

How it is impacted and affected her life
What's Next?
Since Emily has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia we have brought Dr. Willis here to tell us more about the disease and how it has affected and impacted Emily's life. " The cause of Sickle Cell Anemia is having bad aching pains in your chest, abdomen and joints, responded Dr. Willis." "This is causing her to have problems with her heart and liver which could lead to heart failure or liver failure and her lung cells could be affected because of her having her shortness of breath problem." So my final say is that she has Sickle Cell Anemia and my family and staff pray for her and say keep fighting Emily.
