Distance Learning Updates for the Week of May 4
Principal's Message
Dear Wolfsville Community,
This week marks our 6th week of Distance Learning. More importantly however, it is Teacher Appreciation Week. If it wasn't for the hard work of all of our Wolfsville staff, we certainly would not have had 6 successful weeks to support your child's continued learning through this crisis.
While we can not celebrate as we had planned, we WILL highlight the impact and all of the ways our Wolfsville staff connect and support our students...In normal times and especially today.
With help from the PTA each staff member received a special care package at their house to start the week and remind them how much we appreciate their hard work, which supports us all through these tough times. Also, Please join us for our our virtual spirit week! Take pictures and upload them to our Padlet webiste with an encouraging message to our staff members and each other! Also, stay tuned for a potential celebratory opportunity for our staff on Friday...more to come.

40 Book Challenge
With all the changes in your life, one thing that helps everyone is to relax and read a book. We will be continuing our 40 books challenge and will have a plan to celebrate everyone that continues to read during their continuity of instruction. Students may add anything that they read, including things their teacher assigned, as this reading has become independent as well. Record all the books that you are reading on this chart and keep your book list going.
We will be celebrate students progress with independent reading during distance learning!

Covid-19 Masks
Are you in need of a mask? Our own Ms. Miller has been sewing away and has offered her talents to our community. If you are interested in a mask contact Dori Miller at dorinda.miller@fcps.org.
We understand it may be difficult for young children to understand the recent directives to wear masks. The social story below explains it in kid-friendly language to help our students understand while easing anxiety.
