AT Update

3rd Grade Math
This week, we are deepening our study of fractions. Students have learned to simplify and unsimplify fractions using multiplication and division. We learned to make chains of equivalent fractions and compared fractions of different sized wholes.
PI Day

4th Grade Math
This week, we continued to work on pre-algebra skills. Students have learned to simplify expressions and combine like terms. They have practiced working with order of operations and have found patterns in numbers.
AT Reading
Students have been working independently this week in their regular classrooms due to PARCC testing. They are learning to infer and predict, write persuasive pieces of writing, examine primary and secondary sources of information, and visualize as they read.
