Hydro electricity is a way to produce energy. It produces electricity by water going through dams turning wheels. Some positive things about the process is that it is harmless to the environment, it's one of the cheapest ways make electricity, and the water never comes in contact with the electricity making the process safe.

This shows how hydro power can only be used in certain areas.
One of the negative things about hydro electricity is for it to make a decent amount of electricity it must be near massive amounts of water or fast flowing rivers. Another negative thing is that most dams are not built for this process and the dams built for the process are hard to build. Also because of the need to be by water the hydro electric dams are built in specific spots in the country.
