We are finishing the year strong with lots of activities as we enter this last month. We will still have one more student holiday on Memorial Day, May 27th, so be sure to mark your calendars.
Also, our last day of school is May 30th and will be an early release!
REMINDER
Doors open at 8:10 am and Great Expectations Assembly will begin at 8:30am. The tardy bell rings at 8:40 am.
Our Wildcat Monthly newsletter runs the first of every month. Our newsletters will keep you updated with important information, dates, and activities happening at CPES! Also, www.tomballisd.net, www.canyonpointepto.com, and www.facebook.com/CPESPTO have up-to-date information.
CPES PTO NEED YOU!
We are excited for YOU to work along side us! Do you want to have a better vision of how schools work? Or would you like to work more closely with the administration? Join the Canyon Pointe Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for the 2019-2020 school year.
We currently are in need of a Secretary on our main board. This position would take our monthly meeting notes and champion this monthly digital newsletter. There are many other helpful volunteer spots available as well. We would love to have two volunteers for each committee. Please Contact us at info@canyonpointepto.com for nominations and let us know if you are interested in helping with the yearbook, organizing the "Trunk or Treat" or any family events, photography, school fundraisers, selling items from the school "Spirit Wear", bilingual liaison, homeroom parents, social media coordinator or any position that can be done entirely from home. The more the merrier!
Also, keep your eyes open for a PTO survey coming to you! We want to know how we can serve you and your kids best, so your opinion matters! It will ask just a few questions about this year and what you see for the future. Thank you again for giving us this important information!
