The Demand for Independence
The struggle for independence in Africa after the First WWI has made a serious effect on European empires. By the 1950’s there were parties that demanded political independence from the surrounding nations of Africa.

In the Past
Most of Africa had been effectively colonized after WWI and also when WWI business came into contact with Africa. Colonialism also brought the end to slavery in East and Central Africa. Africa had been colonized with the exception of Libya and Egypt.

Equality For All
Africans wanted more opportunity that was given from equality along with and end to discrimination as their central demand within their colonies.
