Military Connected Families
Yelm Community Schools partners with the Department of Defense to support our military families/students through several grants totalling $2.5 Million dollars. The great thing about this is that all students benefit from these additional funds. Each year the district needs to report to the Department of Defense the number of military-connected students we have in the district. The more military-connected families we can identify the more likely DoD will be willing to continue funding these types of grants.
