2nd Quarter Assessments

With all of the "Cold" Days we have had at the start of the year and the early releases, us teachers are feeling the pressure to get everything in by the end of the quarter. Next week, your children will be assessed during guided reading, math, and social studies as well as reading for running records - WHEW! Make sure your children are keeping up with their homework and math facts and are getting plenty of sleep! We need happy and rested brains!

The following families have offered to send in the following!

Misty Susa- 100 Spoons

Laura Nelson- Napkins

Beth Gaffney- Napkins

Hali Bodart- Napkins

Jen Hickey - 100 Plates

Thanks for the support! Please send these by TUESDAY MORNING!

Congratulations Makayla!

We had our first student receive a Star Purple this week! I am so proud of Makayla! She has been doing an excellent job staying on task, being kind and helping others, following directions, and being safe, respectful and responsible!

Howard Suamico is undergoing a technology transformation this year and our students are expanding their understanding of technology and how we can use it in the classroom. I have some cool ideas on how to incorporate more technology into the classroom. Please take this poll on the computer access you have at home, so I know which guided reading groups can partake in these new technological assignments. Each assignment will take more more than 15-20 minutes to complete.

This is the first time I am trying a google form- if it doesn't work I'll send a paper copy home!
