The Warrior Way
Week of February 8th
Proud to Be A Warrior!!!
Look for this message in the Lincoln County Journal in the upcoming weeks. Thank you Casey B. and Brianna! Winfield Intermediate is a great place to work!
Being a warrior is not a job to take lightly. It requires an immense amount of work and in return an immense amount of reward.
The truly great thing about this district is the children in which we serve. In the past years we have increased the rigor of our instruction to meet the requirement of the Common Core Standards. Our students have been right behind us putting in the effort needed to meet and exceed the demands. Our students have become goal setters who are out to achieve their best. In addition, to the academic efforts put in by our students, they also treat both peers and staff with respect. They follow the expectations in order to make our school a great place to learn.
Not only are the students one of the many reasons Winfield is the best place to work, but the staff are amazing people as well. The staff members at Winfield are always willing to help students, teachers, and parents without hesitation. Staff members spend many hours inside and outside of school to make sure that they are providing the best education for students when they walk through our doors. They are continuously looking at data and learning the best instructional practices to apply in the classroom to meet the needs of students. Staff members are always there for each other and are continuously collaborating, sharing ideas, and providing necessary support to all students. When given a challenge, the Winfield staff pull together to overcome that challenge and are willing to do what it takes to achieve. That’s what makes Winfield a great place for any staff member to work!
