Road to Success Update

RTS has reached 316 GEDs to date with a 97% success rate this year. Our team provides GED prep, life skills, and pre-employment training with tutoring services available daily to provide one-on-one assistance. We also provide paid internships to youth making $15.00 per hour. This month, students attended presentations by SMA Healthcare, attended a CPR/First Aid certification class, completed Food Handler certification classes, created resumes, and had graduation pictures taken.

At the beginning of this year, we unveiled a new class schedule with class offered both during the morning and afternoon. The morning session is from 10 am-11:45am with a 15-minute break in-between 45-minute class periods. The afternoon classes begin at noon and go on until 1:45 pm with a 15-minute break in-between the classes. This adjusted schedule allows more flexibility for our students. Class sizes remain small with 5-6 students per teacher.
