Liz Hurley interviews our students!

"It all started with a letter." That is how the interview with Liz Hurley began today at RIS. Two of our fourth graders wrote a letter to Mr. Hill explaining a fundraiser that they wanted to start. Ms. Hurley was kind enough to come to our school and interview those students and two others who have started campaigns to raise money for local cancer groups. The fundraisers are: Can Tabs for Cancer, Pennies for Patients (sponsored by K-Kids), and Donate your Change for Cancer (started by the 4th graders).

Cookie Dough Fundraiser!

On Monday, February 2nd, we will kickoff our Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Sale! This is a very important fundraiser for our school to help raise money for enhancing the educational experiences your child has at school. Funds raised will be used for items such as technology, teacher resources for instruction, and everyday supplies that help our school to function. We appreciate your support on this fundraiser to help make it a success for our school! Students will bring home a paper packet of fundraiser materials, and there will also be an option for online ordering. Fundraiser Prize Incentive sheets are attached. Please look for more details to come home on February 2nd. Thank you for your support!
