Safe Routes to School Grant Action Planning Meeting-Community Participation is Needed!

Columbia Central Receives Runner Up in the CPR/AED Drill Competition!
- We have 4 AED's on the high school/junior high campus and our staff our trained to use them in a cardiac emergency.
- We have an Emergency Response Team made up of teachers, administrators and support staff that are trained to respond to cardiac emergencies in the building.
- We conduct two Cardiac Emergency Response Drills each school year.
Columbia Central received Runner Up recognition for our CPR/AED Drills. We will receive $200 in AED supplies for our district!

Girls Tennis Information
There is a sign-up list in the office for any girl interested in playing tennis this spring. Please stop by to sign up.
Also, there will be a short meeting on Friday, March 12 during announcements. The meeting should only take a few minutes!

Girls Softball Information-
Any girls who are interested in playing JV and Varsity Girls Softball will have a meeting on March 11 right after announcements.
Columbia Clay Team Information-
The mandatory range safety day is on Sunday March 7th at the Brooklyn Sportsmans Club, 475 Monroe St, Brooklyn, MI 49230 at 12 noon. If you are new and have not completed your registration or safe class, you need to do so before this date. If you have any questions please let us know.
Sports Update
Boy's Varsity Basketball is 4-6; 4-5 in the LCAA and looking forward to Districts @ Jonesville.
Cheer continues to compete in the LCAA and has finished 4th in both league events.
Boy's and Girl's Bowling are both at the top of the LCAA standings and battling for league championships! The boys are 5-2 and the girls are 3-2.
Despite low numbers, wrestling continues to compete in a tough LCAA league and continues to improve. Way to go CC!
