Panic no more! The MyCNU Engage Service Profile website is up and running! Wait no longer to log your service hours. Hop onto mycnuengage.org and log away! Make sure to look through your hours and delete double entries.

SENIORS more good news! It's not too late to earn Service Distinction for graduation! If you have not yet enrolled but plan to log at least 140 hours of focused service by early April, please log into mycnuengage.org and update your profile by selecting "yes" you want to enroll in Service Distinction. The deadline to enroll for Seniors is Friday, January 24th, but we encourage you to do it today so you won't forget! CCE Staff will contact you after the deadline with Orientation information."

Mandatory President's Speaker Series - Susan Komives

You may recognize her from your Leadership Studies courses, famous to the PLP student body for her book, Exploring Leadership. Susan R. Komives is Professor Emeritus of College Student Affairs at the University of Maryland. She is president of the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (a 36 associationmember consortium advancing standards of practice and selfassessment,) former president of the American College Personnel Association, a former vice president for student development at two colleges, and co-founder of the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs. She is lead author of the Leadership Identity Development model research and is currently is co-principal investigator of the Multi-institutional Study of Leadership project, a 100 + campus study of college student leadership outcomes and campus practices that contribute to those outcomes. Susan was a member of the ensemble that developed the Social Change Model of Leadership Development. She has authored and co-authored several leadership books, chapters and articles. She earned her M.S. and B.S. at Florida State University and an Ed.D. from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Study Abroad:

Study Abroad Summer 2014 Interest Meeting!

Ever thought about spending a semester abroad? Come to the interest meeting to discover new programs, meet those who have studied abroad, and get all of your questions answered!

Visit the Holy Land with CNU!

There are still spots available for the May 13-25, 2014 study abroad trip to Israel and Jordan: "Ancient Israel: The Clash of Rome and Jerusalem" (CLST 370).

This 3-credit study abroad program will introduce students to the interaction of Rome and Jerusalem in the first century CE. Participants will visit Roman-era sites in Israel and Jordan in order to understand the fall of Jerusalem, the beginning of the Jewish Diaspora, and the birth of Christianity. Highlights of the trip include visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Amman; Masada, Caesarea, Qumran, Petra; the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Church of the Nativity. Program fee of $4000 includes airfare, lodging, some meals, all entrance fees, and health insurance; CNU tuition not included.
