The State of the Arts

The Digital Quarterly Publication of the Fine Arts of PCSD

A Note from our Editor

Welcome to the month of May!

We have had a wonderful school year in the arts of the Paulding County School District! As summer is now in plain sight, I hope you have plans to relax, spend time with your family and friends, and enjoy some down time!

For our students who are graduating, we wish you well in the next chapter of your life! I know you will make us all proud and we cannot wait to see what wonderful things you accomplish on your journey! May your gifts, talents, and reputations go before you and pave the way for wonderful success in all you do!

This final edition of The State of the Arts is packed with celebrations, pictures, videos, web-links and more to inform you of the great things we have been up to and the exciting things ahead!

Thank you for supporting the arts in Paulding! Have a wonderful summer!

My name is Katie Anderson and I am the Fine Arts Coordinator for the Paulding County School District. It is with great pleasure that I can say the Fine and Performing Arts of PCSD are alive and well! Our students and teachers are doing great things every single day in the classroom, on football fields, in practice rooms, in art studios and galleries, in colleges and universities, in recording studios, and on stages within our own communities and across the nation!

Join us in celebrating this amazing collection of talent! Take some time this school year to visit a school play or attend one of our many art shows, concerts, competitions, band exhibitions, choral festivals, or even a fine arts classroom near you.
