Broken Arrow Garden Update
Here is the weekly Farm-to-School update from USD497! This week, 2nd and 3rd graders helped gather brown and green materials for composting, which we added to an existing pile of compost. This was a great way to do some garden clean up and put this year's garden debris to future use!
Are you interested in volunteering in the garden during our activity time on Wednesdays? Let Mrs. Epperson know by emailing her at mepperso@usd497.org! Grade levels are taking turns with projects, clean up, and scavenger hunts out in the garden space, and extra hands are always appreciated! We are in the garden space between 12:30-1:30 most Wednesdays through November. No garden experience necessary, just an interest in helping guide students through the activities. Contact Mrs. Epperson for details and to arrange a time.
