Good Things:
- Welcome aboard Vicky Clisham. Vicky will be working as the paraprofessional alongside Elenora Richardson in the ASD classroom. She is officially the replacement for Monica Geer.
- I would like to also welcome Sheryl Beinstock to the Sheiko family. She will be the longe-term guest teacher in the iCenter the remainder of the year.
- with these two announcements, we are officially staffed at Sheiko. :)

Curriculum Message
Kindergarten and 2nd grade teachers, the literacy coaches are currently working on creating sessions to support the If/Then Unit that you will teach for the remainder of the school year. The If/Then Unit will support reading nonfiction text. The additional unit will be shared with you in April.

Mini Grant Opportunity- Anything But Candy
WBEF is offering another opportunity for teachers to fund classroom initiatives. Please take a moment to complete the application for any classroom ideas and projects you may have. The deadline is February 28th.

Capturing Kids Hearts - February Focus February:
- Last week the paraprofessionals were trained on the four questions. in fact, Mrs. Todd was able to immediately implement the four questions successfully. We are all beginning to speak the same language to our students. It's the beginning phase however, we must continue to all practice and be consistent.
- Every classroom should have the four questions posted near their Social Contract or somewhere visible in the classroom.
- All students should know the four questions.
- March 16th is our site visit. The team will visit Doherty in the morning and Sheiko in the afternoon. We do not have exact times just yet. Get Ready, Get Ready, classrooms and hallways must be visitor ready.
